Elaine is an experienced and accomplished family lawyer who has worked in the field of family law since 1997. Her career development took her from being the secretary to the managing partner of a prestigious boutique family law firm in London through to becoming a qualified lawyer in her own right. This career path allowed Elaine to gain a deep understanding of family law from all angles, from the practicalities of the administration of a case though to the complexities of law in dealing with a full range of family law matters.
Elaine advises on all areas of private family law to include:
Divorce, dissolution and separation
Financial and property matters
Arrangements for the children
Domestic abuse
Family business and pensions on divorce
Leave to Remove applications
Pre-nuptial, post-nuptial and cohabitation agreements;
Unmarried couples
Elaine has advised clients across the full spectrum of family law matters, from the “every day” divorce to representing high profile clients at the High Court and Court of Appeal.
Elaine’s clients describe her as “a strong force to be reckoned with”, and as bringing “an emotionally intelligent, sensitive but clear minded approach”.
It has always been Elaine’s aim to bring high quality legal advice to those who need it most, and as such she has developed a Pay As You Go service which helps clients who choose to self represent. This is done by offering solid legal advice in the background whilst the client retains full control of the purse strings.
