25 Feb Statutory Payments

From October 2014 the National Minimum Wage will increase as follows:

Workers aged 21+ will be £6.50 from £6.31

Workers aged 18-21 will be £5.13 from £5.03

Workers aged 16-17 will be £3.79 from £3.72

Apprentices will be £2.73 from £2.68.

The current Statutory Sickness Payment is £87.55 per week for a maximum period of 28 weeks.

The current Statutory Maternity Payment is 90% of normal weekly earnings for a period of 6 weeks then £138.18 a week or 90% of normal weekly earnings if lower for a period of 33 weeks.
